The Ford Bronco returns in 2021 with sharp styling, impressive performance, off-road capability, and a long list of innovative features.

Drivers in New Holland, Lancaster, and Reading can find out more about the Bronco with this 2021 Ford Bronco review from New Holland Ford.

Bronco Performance and Capability

The Bronco comes with a 2.3L inline-four as the standard engine, which makes 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. The uprated option is a 2.7L twin-turbo that makes 310 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Both engines use a sharp 10-speed automatic transmission, but a seven-speed manual is available for the inline-four for better off-road crawls. Four-wheel drive is standard, but an advanced all-wheel-drive system is available.

Several off-road features enhance the capability of the Bronco, including 35-inch mud tires, electronic locking front and rear differentials, a sway bar disconnect, and beadlock-capable wheels. Another highlight is the Bronco's ground clearance, which stands at 11.6 inches to traverse water and other hazards. Both models are capable of towing up to 3,500 pounds when properly equipped.

Bronco Space and Comfort

The Bronco is available in both two- and four-door models with soft tops or hardtops and removable body panels, making it highly configurable for outdoor adventures. Adults can sit comfortably in the front and rear seats that can be had in marine-grade vinyl upholstery or premium leather upholstery. Another feature is the body-mounted mirrors that let you remove the doors easily and stay street legal.

Ideal for an off-road outfit, the Bronco includes a rack on the dashboard for smartphone and GoPro camera mounting, which can be plugged into 12-volt outlets on the dash. The trail sights on the fender make it easy to determine where your Bronco's edges are on the trail, but they also double as tie-downs with a 150-pound capacity.

Bronco Technology

The Bronco is equipped with the latest SYNC® 4 infotainment system and an 8-inch touchscreen on the dash that can provide you with on-the-go updates and streaming capabilities from your smartphone using Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ integration. Other features include a Wi-Fi hot spot, built-in navigation, and a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system.

Automatic high beams and parking sensors are standard for the Bronco, but you can add a bunch of advanced safety features. Optional off-road safety features including trail and low-speed rock crawling features, as well as on-road safety features like blind-spot monitoring. This feature monitors the area around your vehicle and alerts you to vehicles or pedestrians in your blind spot. Forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking are also available, which alerts you to possible frontal collisions and applies the brakes.
