Electric Power and Performance
The 2022 Ford E-Transit is an all-electric vehicle. This means no gas is needed to run it. You charge up the van, and it's ready to go. It's equipped with an electric motor that gives plenty of power with 266 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque.
According to data collected by Ford, the average commercial van has a daily driving range of about 74 miles. Since everyone's needs are a little bit different, the E-Transit model's battery offers 126 miles of range per full charge.
When you choose a cargo van, chances are you'll want to pack it full of equipment and cargo for jobs. With the cargo van low roof E-Transit with the regular wheelbase, you'll get a maximum payload capacity of 3,800 pounds. If you opt for the chassis cab, you'll get 4,250 pounds. There's also 4,290 pounds of payload available with the cutaway.
Size Options
To allow you to get the van that meets your needs, the 2022 E-Transit offers three body lengths and three roof heights. You can also opt for a chassis cab or cutaway model. With all these choices, you get eight all-electric configurations.
The three roof heights offer plenty of space. The high-roof version gives six feet and nine inches of height inside the van, meaning tall people can walk around and load the van with ease. The medium roof height comes to six feet, allowing you to navigate inside common 7-foot garages.
The three cargo van lengths come in regular, long, and extended. With all this flexibility, you'll be able to find the van size that meets your needs.
