The standard engine is a Twin-scroll 2.0L EcoBoost® I-4 turbocharged engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission. You'll get 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque with this engine.
The other powertrain is the available 2.7L EcoBoost® V6 twin-turbocharged engine with a whopping 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque.
All-wheel drive is standard with both engines, giving you plenty of traction even in bad weather. If you opt for the ST trim, you'll even get Sport mode to enhance your driving experience.
Inside the Edge, you'll find enough room for five passengers and 39.2 cubic feet of cargo room behind the second row.
Cloth seats are standard, although leather-trimmed seating is available on higher-trim levels. Heated front seats are available on higher trims, too, so you can stay comfortable on winter days. Driver's seat memory saves your position even if someone else drives your Edge.
Dual-zone automatic temperature control is standard, too, so you and your passengers can pick the temperature that's right for you without having to compromise.
The ST trim has standard ambient lighting, providing the option to customize some of the lighting in your SUV.
Technology oozes out of the Ford Edge. Inside the SUV, you'll find a standard infotainment system with a 12-inch touchscreen and SYNC® 4A software. Voice recognition with this system allows you to keep your hands on the wheel while you change music, make phone calls, and get directions-all with the sound of your voice. In-vehicle navigation is also available.
If you want everyone to stay connected while you're on the go, the Edge has an available FordPassâ„¢ Connect 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. Access it with up to 10 devices and from up to 50 feet away.
