2022 Ford F-250: Power & Performance

The 2022 F-250 comes equipped with the standard configuration of a 6.2L SOHC 2-valve Flex Fuel V8 gas engine. The recommended fuel for optimal performance is 87 octane or E85. The engine is then coupled with the TorqShift® G 6-speed SelectShift Automatic® transmission. This transmission offers Progressive Range Select (for overdrive lockout) along with Full Manual. The power output of this engine is 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque.

The powertrain has been engineered to deliver peak torque at a lower RPM while also being able to generate a high torque throughout the midrange of the power band. What this means for you is that you'll be able to make your tow/haul experiences that much easier, as the torque needed can be reached without putting too much wear on your truck's engine.

The 2022 F-250 has a maximum towing capacity of 15,000 pounds when properly equipped. While great, that alone isn't always enough.   • Multiple 180-/360-degree cameras that create images for a view of all sides of the truck
