The Engines That Power the F-350

The F-350 gives you the choice of three powerful engine options: two gas and one diesel.

The standard engine under the hood is the 6.2L flex-fuel V8 gas engine that, when working with a TorqShift^® G 6-speed automatic transmission, delivers 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque.

The other gas engine available with the F-350 is the 7.3L V8 engine with a whopping 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque.

However, the available 6.7L Power Stroke^® V8 Turbo Diesel engine provides the most power of all three engines. It generates 475 horsepower and an incredible 1,050 lb-ft of torque!

The other two engine options are equipped with a TorqShift^® 10-speed SelectShift Automatic^® transmission which improves shift performance and comes with five selectable drive modes.

Towing and Payload Capacity

The Ford F-350 can tow and haul with the best of them. After all, that's what this truck is made for.

In terms of loading up the truck bed, the F-350 has a maximum payload of 7,850 pounds-almost four tons! That's plenty of strength for bricks, construction equipment, and whatever else you might need at a jobsite.

Need to bring along a large trailer? The F-350 can handle it with a maximum towing capacity of 22,800 pounds when properly equipped.

As a truck that performs well both on the road and on the jobsite, the F-350 has quite a few features to aid in your next project.
