Vehicles help us get to, quite literally, wherever we need to go. Some people take them with friends and family on extended road trips, driving from one corner of the States to the other. Other people decide to transport themselves to and from work, and don’t like to ride around in vehicles for fun.

Either way, there are a few fluids integral to your car’s health. Let’s look at them.

Whether you drive an automatic or manual transmission, your car has to have transmission fluid. It is checked by looking under your hood and checking a dipstick significantly smaller than the one for your motor oil. If there is not much transmission fluid present, you should immediately add some. Next, flush it out as soon as it’s convenient, then replace it.

Motor oil is equally as important and helps the combustion or diesel engine run as intended. Want to learn more about these fluids? Consider contacting our service team here at New Holland Ford.
