The Ford Explorer also offers two engine options. There's the 2.3L EcoBoost® I-4 turbocharged engine that gets 300 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque or the 3.0L EcoBoost® V6 twin-turbocharged engine that gets 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, the Ford Explorer can tow up to 5,600 pounds.

The Ford Explorer has seating for seven passengers. It offers 18.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind all three rows of seating, but can be expanded to a maximum 87.8 cubic feet when second- and third-row seats are folded.
