Right from the beginning, the 2025 Ford Escape shows off its 4-engine capability. That's right. When creating your Escape, you can choose from the following options:

• 1.5L Ecoboost® engine
• 2.0L Ecoboost® engine
• 2.5L iVCT Atkinson-Cycle I-4 Hybrid engine
• 2.5L Plug-In Hybrid I-4

At any given time, your Ford model can pump out 163 to 250 horsepower. Compared to the CR-V, the Escape provides more personalized engine options. The CR-V lineup relies on two engines, including a 190-horsepower, In-Line 4-cylinder with Turbocharger. That means Honda drivers will be granted only a fraction of the engine output of the Escape. 

If you're looking for an SUV with excellent towing performance, then again, the Escape is your top choice. When properly equipped, the Ford can pull up to 3,500 pounds of attachments. Meanwhile, the Honda CR-V is capable of pulling less than half that amount.

The newest version of SYNC® 4 comes standard with the 2025 Ford Escape. What's so noteworthy about this entertainment system? It allows for easy-to-use voice-controlled technology and offers a large touchscreen that displays more than merely your driver settings.

The SYNC® 4 functions as your built-in assistant, and use its hands-free connectivity to engage in the following functions:

• Receive quick, reliable directions with the available voice-activated Navigational System.
• Make a phone call with the press of a button and the sound of your voice.
• Control the audio media settings with just a few words.
• Use the FordPass™ App to access features through the center touchscreen.

Again, the SYNC® 4 system is only available on Ford models. Therefore, Honda CR-V drivers will not be able to experience this high-end interior feature.
