The Ram 1500 has a few tech features to help. The available 360° Surround View Camera enables you to see around your truck so you can navigate obstacles. The F-150 has its own version of this as well. Trailer reverse steering control helps back up your trailer by simply turning a knob in the truck. The F-150's version is called Pro Trailer Backup Assist™.
The Ford F-150 has a ton of tech features that lend a hand. The available onboard scales help you keep an eye on your payload so you don't exceed your truck's weight limits. To let you work at night, the F-150 also has selectable zone lighting that lets you light up the area and truck bed of your truck.

The Ram 1500, when properly equipped, has a maximum towing capacity of 12,750 founds. Its payload capacity tops out at 2,300 pounds.
The F-150 offers over 1,000 pounds more towing and payload capacity. The F-150, when properly equipped, has a maximum towing capacity of 14,000 pounds! The payload capacity is over 3,000 pounds, hitting 3,325 pounds at its maximum.

The Ford F-150 and the Ram 1500 both offer different bed and cab options, providing a variety of sizes to both trucks.
The Ram 1500 has a length from 228.9 inches to 241.8 inches, depending on which options you choose. The truck bed options for the Ram 1500 are a 5-foot-7-inch box and a 6-foot-4-inch box.
The Ford F-150's length ranges from 209.1 inches to 243.5 inches. There are three options of truck bed length for the F-150, making it the more flexible option. You can opt for the 5-foot-6-inch box, the 6-foot-6-inch box, or the 8-foot box.
The 8-foot box offers an impressive 77.4 cubic feet of cargo space inside your truck bed. The most you'll get from the Ram 1500 is 61.5 cubic feet.
